COMMANDOR XP

Machine overview

COMMANDOR XP separates plastic granules and flakes by colour. Material flows from the hopper through a controlled feeder and chute into the illuminated inspection zone. Front and rear cameras capture the product, the processor evaluates the images, and pneumatic ejectors direct the selected pieces into the rejection stream.

The imaging system combines a 5400 × 3 pixel trichromatic RGB scanner with adjustable background lighting. A closed-loop feeder supports even material presentation, while the touchscreen provides stored programmes and operating controls for different sorting requirements. Background colour and dimming can be adjusted to suit the material.

The brochure identifies plastic granules, PET flakes, PP, PE, ABS, chips and scrap among the application examples. Choose the sorting settings for the actual colour mix and required product stream. The air-treatment and installation layouts in the brochure help plan compressor supply, accepted material and rejection handling.

Machine features

Trichromatic RGB imaging

A 5400 × 3 pixel scanner captures the colour information used for plastic separation.

Front and rear inspection

Cameras inspect both sides of the material as it passes through the viewing zone.

Self-calibrating feeder

A closed-loop sensor system regulates the feed to present material evenly for inspection.

Adjustable RGB background

The LED system provides adjustable background colour, even illumination and dimming control.

Stored sorting programmes

The Linux-based colour touchscreen supports more than 1,000 programme types for different operating requirements.

High-speed rejection

The brochure publishes detailed rows for 1, 2, 3, 5, 7 and 10 chutes within its stated 1–12 chute range. Other configurations are available on enquiry. The pressure unit in the printed air-demand heading is incomplete; confirm the operating pressure with MARK.

The brochure lists 150–300 kg per primary chute in its output row. The time basis is not explicit in that value, so an hourly machine capacity must be confirmed for the selected plastic and contamination level.

Confirm the specification and installation requirements for your exact model with MARK before ordering.
