COMMANDOR Square

Machine overview

COMMANDOR Square is an optical chute sorter for pulses, grains, pepper, groundnut, cardamom and millets. High-speed RGB cameras and real-time image analysis classify the material using colour, shape and brightness information. This helps identify discoloured, broken or visibly defective pieces in the product stream.

A sensor-based feeder regulates the flow into the inspection area. The image-processing system passes rejection decisions to fast-response pneumatic ejectors, which direct selected pieces away from the accepted product. The touchscreen brings operating settings, monitoring and parameter adjustment into one interface, with self-diagnosis and fault alerts to support maintenance.

The machine is offered in 1–12 chute sizes. Chute distribution, re-sorting routes, compressor supply and the surrounding elevator layout are selected together for the required process. The configuration table provides the brochure dimensions and air demand for planning.

Machine features

RGB camera system

A 5400 × 3 pixel RGB sensor system captures the colour information used to classify the product stream.

Real-time image analysis

Image processing evaluates colour, shape and brightness to distinguish acceptable material from selected defects.

Controlled material feed

A closed-loop sensor-based feeder self-calibrates to maintain an even flow into the inspection area.

Pneumatic rejection

Fast-response air jets remove pieces selected by the imaging system into the rejection stream.

Touchscreen operation

The colour touchscreen provides operating controls, status monitoring and sorting-parameter adjustment.

Fault monitoring

The self-diagnosis system monitors performance and provides alerts for faults or maintenance needs.

The table lists standard chute machines; compact 32-channel and 63-channel options are shown on the Mini page. Brochure TPH values are specifically labelled for rice/dal and are not universal capacities for every pulse, spice or grain. The brochure lists ten standard configurations within the 1–12 chute range; other configurations are available on enquiry.

The brochure output values are for the stated material and configuration at 2% input contamination. Actual throughput and rejection depend on the input material, dust and sorting requirements.
