From RGB pixels to intelligent colour sorting.

Discover how COMMANDOR Square combines RGB image capture with intelligent image processing for a closer look at your material.

Overview

RGB pixels are the starting point. COMMANDOR Square captures the material stream with high-speed RGB cameras, then uses intelligent image processing to interpret colour, shape and brightness. The transition is from comparing colour values to analysing the captured image and turning that information into a sorting decision.

Controlled feeding and lighting help present the material for inspection. Image analysis identifies the selected visual differences, and synchronized pneumatic ejectors separate the rejected fraction. Pulses, grains, pepper, groundnut, cardamom and millets each need settings suited to the material and the intended result.

Start with a representative sample and define what you want to keep and remove. The MARK team can then help evaluate the configuration and separation for your process.

Machine features

Capture the image

High-speed RGB cameras capture the illuminated material stream for inspection.

Interpret visible differences

Intelligent image processing evaluates colour, shape and brightness information to classify the material.

Make the separation

The sorting decision is synchronized with material travel and pneumatic ejection.
